SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Video lottery play was underperforming in southeastern South Dakota early last year until a marketing campaign brought in more revenue.
John Keyes with Lottery says the spring campaign proved fruitful.
Keyes says statistics show that early last year video lottery revenue in southeastern South Dakota was down 5.38% and when the campaign ended it was up 1.8% for a turnaround of over 7%. He says the figures are a good indication that the campaign made an impact.
Keyes says the top three cities for video lottery net income were Sioux Falls, Rapid City and North Sioux City.
