SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The South Dakota Board of Regents says 86% of high school students taking dual credit courses enroll in post-secondary education.
Dr. Paul Turman told the State Board of Education today that 56% of those students attend public universities in South Dakota.
Turman says 14% attended a private school and 11% attended a technical institute. 18% went out-of-state.
Dual credit enrolls high school students in college courses allowing them to earn credit for both.
