SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Minnehaha County Commission appointed Paul Kosboth to a four-year position on the Planning Board.
Commissioner Jean Bender nominated Kostboth. Bender told Commissioners that she had worked with Kostboth when he was at South Dakota Housing and found him to be very level-headed and a solid decision maker.
Planning Commission terms are four years. They meet the fourth Monday of every month, except in December
Meanwhile...with an increase in deductibles on buildings, and a change in policy, Minnehaha County will save $47,000 in insurance costs.
Carol Muller with the Commission Office says there’s also a change in coverage. Muller says they were able to add in an enhanced crime coverage for $1 million that covers everybody.
The old coverage was $250,000 for everybody.
