Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) A Lincoln High School student stands accused of bringing a handgun to school in his backpack on Thursday.
Sioux Falls Schools Superintendent Brian Maher says that other students noticed that he was acting suspiciously and notified school authorities.
Dr. Maher says that if anything good came out of this situation, it is that the 'see something, say something' message is getting out because when something suspicious was noticed, someone said something.
He says he doesn't know what the student intended with the gun, but nobody was hurt and nobody was threatened.
