SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A book sale featuring banned and challenged works, from classic to contemporary, is a fundraiser for REACH, the nonprofit that teaches adults to read.
Executive Director Paige Carda says there are some surprise titles.
Paigemention titles such as "Moby Dick," "1984", "Adventures of Huckelberry Finn," "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" and Jack London's "Call of the Wild" which was considered too radical by some in 1903.
The REACH Banned Book Sale is at Canfield Interiors on North Minnesota Avenue today through Saturday. Hours are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday
