Stranded SF Catholics: maybe God's plan

Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) Buses with about 80 students and leaders from the Sioux Falls Catholic Diocese finally arrived back in Sioux Falls early Monday morning, a day behind schedule with lots of stories to tell.

The group had gone to Washington, DC for the annual March For Life, but on the way back became stranded on Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania by the huge snow storm. They spent more than 20 hours stuck on the highway.

But Holy spirit Parish Youth Director Sean Hanson tells KSFY-TV that they had plenty of fellowship and singing, had pizzas delivered and even celebrated mass in the snow on the side of the highway.

Hanson believes that God had it all planned because they had over one million hits on their facebook page and so much publicity was given to why they had been in Washington - namely fighting against abortion.
