SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Voters in April’s city-school board election will go to neighborhood precincts, not vote centers.
Sioux Falls City Clerk Lorie Hogstad says precincts will serve for the primary and general elections too. Hogstad says voters will need to go to their specific precincts and the reason is that the county and city want consistency with the elections.
Council positions in April are At-Large, Northeast District Council, Northwest District Council and Southwest Council.
The Sioux Falls School Board will have two vacancies. Newly elected school board members will serve three-year terms beginning in July.
To find out what precinct to vote in, call the city clerk or county auditor offices.
