SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Jasper, Minnesota, man is accused of kidnapping his estranged wife from her Sioux Falls job Tuesday night.
Captain Blaine Larson says 39-year-old Bradley Justin Miles forced her into a van where he assaulted her in front of their three children.
Larson says Miles allegedly made verbal threats towards her life and he struck her repeatedly. When she took her phone to call 911 he grabbed it, smashed it and tossed it out the window.
Larson says Miles drove back to Jasper where the victim managed to call the Pipestone County Sheriff’s office. An area task force managed to get the woman and children out of the house and arrest the suspet
Miles is also charged with domestic assault and making terroristic threats. He's currently in the Pipestone County jail and Larson says the Minnehaha County States Attorney is also looking into charges.
