SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - There were six business burglaries in southwest Sioux Falls over the weekend all with forced entry.
Officer Sam Clemens says most of the businesses lost misdemeanor amounts of cash but Arthur Johnson Shoes lost much more.
Clemens says the burglars took cash and between fifty and a hundred pairs of shoes valued at $10,000 to $15,000. He says they gained entrance through the roof of the building.
In most of the other incidents entry was made by prying open a door. That's why investigators believe the same suspects may have committed the crimes. A window was broken at the Fireside Casino and it's unclear if anything is missing.
The other stores hit include R Scrap Book Store, Royal Palace, French Door and Healing Touch.
Clemens says there are no arrests.
