Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) The Sioux Falls area will get more snow from the Tuesday blizzard than earlier predicted.
Veteran National Weather Service Forecaster Todd Heitkamp says the earlier forecast had Sioux Falls getting between 2 to 4 inches, now it will be closer to 4 to 7 inches. Heitkamp says the deepest snow will still be to the east and south of Sioux Falls. He says the storm will not impact the Iowa Caucus because the snow isn't expected to start until the voting is over.
Heitkamp says this is the first storm of the season where high wind will be combined with heavy snow.
