Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) - A "Take Back the Site" vigil in rememberance of Sioux Falls murder victim Jennie Smith-Solorazano. She was found dead in her home Saturday morning of stab wounds. Her husband, Garrett Solorzano, is in the Minnehaha County Jail, arrested on first degree murder charges.
A memorial service for Jennie will be held at 7 P.M. Thursday evening at George Boom Funeral Home. The "Take Back the Site" vigil will be held Friday at 5:15 P.M. It will be held at the family's home at 331 North Cliff Avenue. Organizers of the remembrance say the vigil is held in part, to reclaim the site as non-violent.
