SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - An argument between roommates left one man with a ten inch cut to the head last night at a South Second Avenue residence.

Officer Sam Clemens says only one of the men has a key to the house, the other had to knock on a bedroom window around four this morning.

Clemens says the 48-year-old victim opened the back door for the 26-year-old suspect and told him to get a key made so he doesn't have to wake him early in the morning.  That's when the suspect pulled out a knife with an eight to ten inch blade and cut him in the head, just above his left ear.

Police have the suspect’s name but haven’t found him.  The victim required stitches for his wound and was released.

The incident happened at a house at 1004 South Second Avenue, north of McKennan Park
