Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) The proposed 2016 edition of the SculptureWalk in downtown Sioux Falls will be full of beauty, whimsey, and humor.
Among the many new statues will be three eggs with faces playing musicial instruments called 'Jam-n-Eggs'.
'If Pigs Could Fly' is a pig flying a helicopter or 'porkcopter', you might say.
SculptureWalk Director Jim Clark was briefing Sioux Falls City Council on the new edition.
SculptureWalk is an year-round outdoor display in downtown Sioux Falls. Artists place their sculptures in the program for one year...and all are available to the public for purchase.
Artists are eligible to win any one or more of the 14 awards in the Best of Show, People's Choice voting and the random drawings. Awards total to $15,000.
The SculptureWalk team is comprised of volunteers from all walks of life that work on this program throughout the year.
