SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - An escaped teen from a Minnesota facility was arrested yesterday in Sioux Falls on a variety of charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, controlled substances and a concealed weapon.
Officers saw the stolen Denali near West 6th Street and North Minnesota Avenue and tried stopping it but the driver sped off.
He lost control of the vehicle near West 16th Street and South Prairie Avenue and ran.
Witnesses directed police to where the suspect was running and he was caught on South Summit Avenue.
The teen is also charged with aggravated eluding, reckless driving, fleeing police and no driver license.
