SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Now that the city has approved zoning and subdivision plans for Foundation Park attention shifts to railways and roads.
Minnehaha County Commissioner Jean Bender says the city and county are focusing on Marion Road.
Bender says planners are waiting to see when letters of intent are converted into actual purchase agreements and buildings start going up at the park at the northwest corner of I-90 and I-29. She says then there will be further movement on roads
Bender says many letters of intent are conditioned on railway access.
Foundation Park is billed as South Dakota's first megasite. The park encompasses 800 acres near Sioux Falls Regional Airport and within full service of BNSF Railroad.
