SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO-AM) - Police did not find a victim or any damage from a couple of shots fired yesterday afternoon at 13th Street and Willow Avenue.
Officer Sam Clemens says investigators found two 45 caliber shell casings near the scene.
Clemens says police don't know where the bullets went. Investigators have not been able to locate the person who called in the report and told Metro that there was a victim. They do have the caller's number.
Clemens says there's a story here but police don't what it is yet. He says police talked with witnesses who heard the shots.
Sioux Falls Police were called to a neighborhood around 13th and Willow Thursday afternoon, shortly after 2:00 PM.
Witnesses there reporting gunfire. Neighbors say there were multiple shots fired on the 500 block of Willow Street. PD followed up leads, and found several shell casings...but not any victims or suspects. If you have any information, call Crimestoppers at 367-7007.
