Sioux Falls, SD - A male motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car near Tea on Saturday afternoon around 4 p.m.
The motorcyclist was driving westbound on 273rd Street over Interstate 29 near Tea when a vehicle turning left onto 273rd Street from I-29 exit 71 turned in front of the motorcycle.
Highway Patrol Sgt. Steve Swenson said the motorcyclist collided with the car and was thrown into the air, landing on the vehicle. The man driving the vehicle was not hurt. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and sustained serious injuries.
