SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Sioux Falls Convention and Visitor's Bureau is sponsoring an incentive for frontline employees to better share information with visitors on city attractions.

CVB head Teri Schmidt says employees must visit a minimum number of attractions to become more knowledgeable of their operations.

Schmidt says employees are given cards that must be punched by each attraction and must be returned to CVB to be entered into a prize drawing.

She says there are two grand prizes of over $500 in prizes plus ten winners of $25 gift cards.

CVB handed out over 400 cards to 27 different businesses for the contest.

Schmidt says the more information frontline employees have, the better they can encourage visitors to stay in Sioux Falls longer or return for another visit.
