SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Some friction this morning between Minnehaha County Commissioner Dick Kelly and former commissioner Bob Kolbe over Kelly's service as a city councilor and state legislator.
Kelly says that as a councilor there was an adversarial role between the city and county and he admits taking that attitude to Pierre as a legislator.
Kelly says Kolbe went so far as to hang a sign that said something to the effect of not voting for Kelly on a car parked on Minnesota Avenue in his race for county commissioner.
Kelly questioned Kolbe's persistance of using the public opinion portion of commission meetings to pursue a personal vendetta.
Kolbe did give Kelly better marks a current county commissioner.
