SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) -The deadline to register to vote in South Dakota's primary is next Monday by 5 p.m. when forms must received by county auditors.
To register to vote, fill-out the voter registration form, sign it and submit it to your county auditor
Secretary of State Chantel Krebs says registered voters can download the Vote 605 mobile app to see a sample ballot and find your polling place.
Registered voters can vote in person at the county auditor's office up until 5 p.m. the day prior to the electionby bringing a driver's license, nondriver ID, passport inlcuding a picture or a student ID, some form of ID with a picture.
All voters who want to vote absentee must complete and submit a signed absentee ballot application to the county auditor.
The Democrat primary is open to registered Democrats and voters registered at Independent or No Party Affiliation. Republicans have a closed primary.
