SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - For the second time in two days, someone put a gun in the face of pizza delivery workers and robbed them.
Officer Sam Clemens says the latest incident happened yesterday afternoon in an apartment building on North Prairie Avenue where the suspect took the victim's wallet and cell phone.
Clemens say when the deliveryman got to a landing on the staircase two men, one armed with a handgun, came out of an apartment. After they robbed him, the suspects ordered him to leave.
Monday night a man robbed a female worker of her cash after she delivered pizza to an apartment on West Rice Street. She did as the suspect demanded and left the scene.
Clemens says that in both cases, the robbers also took the pizza.
Clemens says there's little advice police can offer victims when someone points a gun at them. He advises that they do as they're told, because you never know what they're capable of, and be a good witness. He says police will have better luck finding the bad guy with a good witness description.
