SIOUX FALL, SD (KELO-AM) There will be many, many opportunities to pay your respects on Memorial Day in the Sioux Falls area.
There's the annual ceremony on the grounds of the VA Medical Center with a featured speaker and patriotic music. The event begins at 10 a.m.
A memorial mass was scheduled in the morning at St Michael Catholic Cemetery. There will be a wreath laying ceremony at Hills of Rest Cemetery. Memorial ceremonies were scheduled in Dell Rapids, Baltic, and other communities near Sioux Falls.
