SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) When business costs go up, customer costs usually go up, and so it is for the customers of Sioux Falls area trash haulers.

The hauling companies will be paying more for disposing of recycled materials. Effective July 1, Millennium Recyling, Inc. will start charging the haulers $25 per ton for disposing of single stream recycling loads.

Major hauler, Novack Sanitary Service, has informed customers that their single stream recycling rates will be going up by a "modest" amount on their monthly bills. Most other haulers are likely telling their customers the same thing.
