SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a Sioux Falls driver ran red lights, hit a parked car, struck phone and cable utility boxes and satellite dishes, drove across lawns, through a field and fence before hitting a tree early this morning.
34-year-old Matthew Holm was arrested for D-W-I and failure to report an accident.
Police were called West 41st St for an intoxicated driver and a short time later were told about a vehicle running red lights on West 26th St.
Holm is accused of hitting a parked vehicle at 26th and South Tecumseh Ave. Holm left the roadway just south of 12th St and drove through a business lot into the back of apartment buildings on South Wheatland Ave where he hit the utility boxes and satellite dishes.
He drove through several lawns before entering a hay field where he went through a fence and hit a tree.
