Inmate Geoffrey Peterson was apprehended in Wabasha County, MN on Jan. 17 and is being held at the Wabasha County Jail.
Peterson failed to return to Unit C, the minimum-security unit at the Jameson Annex to the South Dakota State Penitentiary, from his work release job in Sioux Falls Jan. 13.
