Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) 2013 was a record year for Feeding South Dakota at it's food pantry in downtown Sioux Falls.
Development Director Kerri DeGraff says they fed a record 41,500 people last year - 50% of them children. That compares with 37,600 in 2012. They went through a record 844,450 pounds of food in 2013.
DeGraff tells KELO-AM, that the downtown food pantry is now going through nearly a semi-truck load of food each week.
