Dog bite incident

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) The Sioux Falls Police Department’s Animal Control Division would like the public’s help in locating a dog in reference to a dog bite.

The bite occurred on March 13, 2014, at 5:45 p.m., near the intersection of West 24th Street and South Dakota Avenue. A juvenile male was riding his scooter on the sidewalk and was attempting to ride past an adult male walking his dog on a leash. While riding past the dog, the juvenile male was bitten in the upper right thigh. The adult male was described as a white male wearing a blue coat and black pants. The dog was described as a white dog with large black spots and pointed ears. The adult male and his dog left in an unknown direction of travel after the bite.
