Voter registration deadline is today

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Today is the deadline to register to vote in the Sioux Falls city-school board election on Tuesday, April 8th.

City Clerk Lorie Hogstad says to register at the City Finance Office or driver’s license station before 5 p.m. today.  You can also register at the Minnehaha or Lincoln County Auditor's offices, at military recruitment offices or at public assistance agencies providing food stamps.

Absentee balloting begins today too.  You can vote from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Minnehaha County Auditor's Office, weekdays leading up to election day..               

The city is holding another public meeting on the four ballot questions tonight at 6 at Morningside Community Center on South Bahnson Avenue.
