SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) The Chamber and League of Women Voters will hold a Sioux Falls School Board Candidate Forum on Thursday, March 27 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Instructional Planning Center (201 E. 38th St.). Candidates are Doug Morrison and Roger Russell II.
Each candidate will have 2 minutes to make an opening statement, 90 seconds to respond to various questions submitted from the audience through a moderator and 2 minutes to make concluding remarks. Call-in questions from the viewing audience will also be accepted while the live forum is taking place from 6:30-7:30 p.m.; call 367.7900 to submit a question.
The event is open to the public. In addition, KLRN-TV (Midcontinent Channels 20 and 595) will broadcast the event live and will re-broadcast the forum on March 28-30 at 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and April 1 and April 3 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The election is Tuesday, April 8 and early voting started Monday, March 24.
