SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A 16-year-old boy is charged with aggravated assault for allegedly threatening a fellow Roosevelt High School student with a knife in the school commons.
Officer Sam Clemens says it began when a 14-year-old boy took a girl’s coat as a joke.
Clemens says in a separate incident at Whittier Middle School, a probation officer found a knife a 13-year-old boy’s backpack.
Both boys were charged with having a weapon on school grounds and were taken to J-D-C.
