Wanted: Minnneahaha County Sheriff's Deputies

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Another local law enforcement agency is hiring, this time it’s the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office.

Captain Paul Neidringhaus  says the county is looking for three deputy sheriffs for patrol.  Neidringhaus says the position comes with plenty of opportunity for advancement in investigation, SWAT or fugitive task force.               

Neidringhaus says new deputies are guaranteed every other weekend off.

He says applications are available on the Minnehaha County website.

The City recently closed applications for a dozen officers.
