SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) Sioux Falls has been ranked the No. 1 city for Wallet Wellness out of the 150 largest cities in the United States. The report recently issued by WalletHub used eight key metrics to determine Wallet Wellness, including:

- Rank in WalletHub’s Best & Worst Cities for Job Seekers Report
- Economic Mobility Rank
- Average Commute Time
- Average Credit Score
- Well-Being Index
- Physical Health
According to the report, money, work, and the economy are our leading causes of stress. In celebration of National Financial Literacy Month and to promote the adoption of responsible habits—both directly and indirectly related to personal finance—WalletHub decided to identify and honor the U.S. cities that are altogether most conducive to Wallet Wellness.
Sioux Falls also ranked as the No. 2 city for lowest average commute time. According to the report, the average commute time in Sioux Falls is 16.4 minutes, just behind Lubbock, Texas, at 15.3 minutes.
