SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The last public meeting on the 2025 Downtown Plan is Thursday at the Orpheum Theater.
Dustin Powers with Community Development says it’s a chance to review goals and comment on the future of the central business district. Powers says 13 citizen work groups are recommending goals and action regarding downtown.
Residents will have a chance to review the goals and offer feedback on any of the elements. The meetings will include overview presentations at 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tables for each of the 13 elements will be set up for reviewing.
Powers says a report will be presented to the public mid to late summer with final approval by the Council this fall. He says the rest of the City is guided by a 2035 plan.
