Sioux Falls Police respond to early morning robbery

Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Police were dispatched to Cubby’s gas station 2101 W 49th St. at 1:09 a.m. in tesponse to a robbery. When Officers arrived they found that the store had been robbed by 3 males that took an undisclosed amount of money and then fled in a silver Ford Freestyle with a luggage rack on top. 

The three suspects in the robbery were desctribed as: A White Male, 13 to 14 yrs of age, 5’0” to 5’2” tall, Medium Build.  He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt (with the hood up), a dark colored cloth or bandana covering his face, black pants, black tennis shoes and white Gloves.  He was carrying a dark grey or black semiautomatic hand gun, and a lime green grocery type bag. The suspect told the clerk,  “We Want Your Money” making the clerk put the money in the green bag.

The second suspect was described as a white male, 13 to 14 yrs of age, 5’0” to 5’2”, Med Build.  He was wearing a black Hooded sweatshirt (with the hood up), a dark colored cloth or bandana covering his face, grey sweatpants and black tennis shoes with dark colored laces and white rubber around the bottom of the shoe.  He was also wearing white gloves and carrying a dark grey or black semiautomatic hand gun.

The third suspect is described as a white Male, 13 to 14 yrs old, 5’0” tall, stocky build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt (with the hood up), dark cloth or bandana covering his face, dark grey sweatpants, black tennis shoes with white rubber around the bottom of the shoes and white gloves.  It's unknown if the third suspect was armed. The third suspect waited by the door while the other two took the money from the clerk.

The suspects fled out the front door to their waiting vehicle (with driver waiting) and fled Southbound on Western Ave.
