SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The suspects in the Cubby’s armed robbery earlier this week were described as 13 to 14 and yesterday’s arrests further revealed they’re girls.
Lieutenant Matt Burns says 19-year-old Kelli Nichole Schlotterback and a 17-year-old girl were arrested for armed robbery. Burns says detectives found the vehicle registration for the get-away car after getting the make and model from video surveillance and the clerk's description.
Three suspects held up the Cubby's on West 49th Street and a fourth drove the car.
Burn says police have an idea who the third suspect is but have not made an arrest.
