SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls’ short-lived Emergency Operations Center, created in response to Monday’s downpour, was closed today.
Officer Sam Clemens says the city is watching the streets and asks residents to call if they see streets damaged by Monday's storm. The street department’s number is 367-8255.
The Center was called into action Tuesday morning after the city's sanitary sewer system was stretched to the limits the night before. The weather forecast for Wednesday night and Thursday morning called for more heavy rain..Sioux Falls received .08 inch of rain overnight.
