Also on Thursday night at around 9:30 p.m., a 51-year-old female was bitten by a dog at 3000 East 26th Street. The female was bitten on the nose when she bent down to pet the dog. The dog was described as a cream-colored pit bull puppy, about six months old, with floppy ears and a long tail, wearing a thick pink collar.

The three people with the dog were described as all being in their late teens to early 20s. The first subject was a male wearing a pink shirt and shorts. The second subject was a male wearing a darker-colored shirt. The third subject was a female with blonde hair, and described as being small in stature.

Animal Control needs to identify the dogs in these incidents to verify their vaccinations. If you have any information on this case, please call Animal Control at 367-7000.
