SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police arrested a 25-year-old Sioux Falls man for the attempted robbery of a West 12th Street convenience store last month where the clerk was hit in the head with a pistol.
Officer Sam Clemens credits the Freedom Value Center’s surveillance images in finding Thomas Troy Anderson. Clemens says investigators received no less than four tips about the suspect in the image. He says once people recognized the suspect it was a matter of getting them to talk with detectives about what they knew.
Clemens says Anderson is charged with robbery, attempted grand theft and simple assault.
Police recovered a BB pistol.
