SIOUX FALLS, A.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls police say two Omaha men allegedly smashed the window to the Get N’ Go on South Cliff Avenue early this morning and stole the store’s A-T-M.
Officer Sam Clemens says a witness saw the suspects load the machine into a rented truck and he called police who arrested the pair on I-29 at the Lennox exit.
Clemens says authorities were fortunate on two fronts: The witness stayed on scene to let police know which direction the suspects went and a police officer was close by and stopped the truck on the Interstate.
23-year-old Jermaine Reed and 22-year-old Isiah Brown are charged with burglary, grand theft, possession of stolen property and intentional damage to property.
Clemens says surveillance video shows a third suspect but he did not get into the truck and has not been found.
