Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - A Sioux Falls Motorcycle Officer was injured in a two vehicle accident Friday morning.
The accident happened just before 10:30 a.m. at East 10th Street and South Fairfax Avenue. Officer Darryl Reemstma was on patrol on South Fairfax approaching the East 10th Street intersection, when a car driven by 39-year-old Ryan Reinke started a left turn and collided with the motorcycle officer.
Officer Reemstma was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Reinke was not injures, but was cited for failure to yield during a left turn.
