SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A brawl between two female students at Roosevelt High School yesterday resulted in a 17-year-old sent to JDC for assault.
Police spokesman Sam Clemens says the fight had broken up and the girl was brought to the school office.
Clemens says once there, the girl apparently wasn't done fighting because she hit the school resource officer in the chest or arm. She was taken to JDC and charged with simple assault against a law enforcement officer.
Simple assault against a law enforcement officer is a felony.
She and the 14-year-old girl she was fighting with were both charged with disorderly conduct.
