SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A rap, hip-hop concert at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall ended early Saturday night when one of the concert-goers brought an assault rifle to the party.

Officer Sam Clemens says 19-year-old Jonathon Bernard Junior of Sioux City told police he felt threatened.  Junior told police that he heard two men say "there he is" and thought they were going to attack him.  He retrieved a 22-caliber rifle from his car an hid it under his coat.

Junior was arrested in the parking lot and charged with having a concealed weapon without a permit and disorderly conduct.

Over thirty officers, deputies and highway patrolmen responded and shut down the concert at the motel’s request.  One officer called it a "near riot."
