SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO AM) - Organizers say 70 employers are expected at a Veterans and Spouses Job Fair tomorrow at the Elmen Center.
Brad Friez with the Paralyzed Veterans of America, says employers from finance, healthcare, manufacturing and government will interview job seekers.
Friez says veterans make great employees. He says hey bring discipline and dedication to the their job. He says as a team member, they're taught to work together. That's kind of work ethic that civilian employers are looking for.
Friez says the Vets and spouses Job Fair is Wednesday, August 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Elmen Center.
It’s co-hosted by the South Dakota Department of Labor, U-S Chamber of Commerce, V-F-W, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and Paralyzed Veterans of America.
