SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say there were 98 car crashes in Sioux Falls between 8 a.m. yesterday and 8 a.m.today.
Officer Sam Clemens says there were 63 crashes between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.yesterday. He says the normal number of crashes during that period is 20 in dry conditions.
Clemens says there were an average number of crashes this morning and he credits drivers realizing the conditions and driving more carefully.
Clemens says there were a couple injury accidents but neither was serious.
