SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A District Court judge dismissed an antitrust lawsuit against Sioux Falls by Med-Star Ambulance, an unsuccessful bidder for service in the City.
Judge Roberto Lange dismissed the lawsuit “with prejudice” meaning the case can’t be brought to court again.
Med-Star owner Jay Masur appealed a hearing officer’s ruling upholding the City’s process for selecting an ambulance provider.
The courts have resolved all legal challenges to the City’s system and the contract with ParamedicsPlus will go into effect a week from today.
