Sixth Street Construction
Beginning on Tuesday May 26, 2015, the westbound and eastbound lane of Sixth Street at Menlo Avenue will be shifted to the south to allow construction crews to preform street repairs. Two way traffic on Sixth Street will be maintained. This work is expected to be complete in approximately three days.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
ADA Curb Ramp Repairs
Beginning on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, construction crews will be working on ADA curb ramp repairs at Tenth Street and Willow Avenue. Work will consist of new sidewalk curb ramps with adjacent curb and gutter, and asphalt patching. Two way traffic will be maintained at all times and channeled around the work area when necessary. The sidewalk will be closed during construction.
Work is expected to take approximately one week with favorable weather conditions.
Beginning on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, construction crews will be working on ADA curb ramp repairs at 11th Street and Willow Avenue and Hawthorne Avenue. Work will consist of new sidewalk curb ramps with adjacent curb and gutter, and asphalt patching. Two way traffic will be maintained at all times and channeled around the work area when necessary. The sidewalk will be closed during construction.
Work is expected to take approximately two weeks with favorable weather conditions.

Street Closure – Annway Drive
Beginning on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, Annway Drive will be closed at 18th Street to allow construction crews to replace a valley gutter at this intersection. Traffic on 18th Street will not be affected by this closure.
This work is expected to be complete in approximately one week.

Street Closure – Elmwood Avenue
Beginning on Tuesday morning, May 26, 2015, Elmwood Avenue will be closed between Madison Street and Burnside Avenue.
Xcel Energy will be working on utilities. The work is expected to be completed by the evening of May 26, 2015.

Westport Avenue Overlay
Beginning on Monday, June 1, 2015, construction crews will begin work on Westport Avenue between Sencore Drive and 60th Street North. Westport Avenue will be closed to traffic from Sencore Drive through the Benson Road intersection. Traffic will be detoured north on I-29 to 60th Street North and south on I-29 to Russell Street. Access to businesses near the Sanford Sports Complex will be off of 60th Street North, and south on Westport Avenue to 51st Street.
Beginning on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, Westport Avenue between Sencore Drive and 60th Street North will be closed to traffic to allow the contractor to mill the street surfacing. Local traffic will be maintained for area businesses. Access to businesses near the Sanford Sports Complex will be off of I-29, and east on Benson Road.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of June.
