SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Senate is considering the Defense Authorization Act that John Thune says eliminates wasteful spending, reduces bureaucracy and streamlines military functions.
Thune says the bill fully supports our men and women in uniform.
Thune says it does redirect defense resources to focus on American fighting forces at home and abroad and not bureaucrats in Washington D.C.
Thune says it authorizes defense spending at the level the President requested in his budget. He says it does have bipartisan support.
