SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether says the recently announced Foundation Park is the tip of the iceberg in economic development.
Huether says the city is close to closing a deal for downtown redevelopment.
Huether says he understands everyone's impatience with the downtown rail yard agreement, which is still in the works. The Mayor says Foundation Park is a monster. But he adds that once the downtown rail yard agreement is signed it will be "Godzilla."
Huether says yesterday he invited Governor Daugaard back to Sioux Falls when the rail yard deal is done.
