Wiring in Dell Rapids High School begins to smoke

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) -  Authorities in Dell Rapids says the town’s high school sustained minor smoke damage when wiring in an air vent began smoking this morning.

Crews were called to the Dell Rapids High School around 9:30 on reports of smoke.

 Smoke prevented firefighters from immediately identifying the problem but they got to the wiring before anything caught fire.
