SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Police have talked to the owner of Josiah’s Coffee House who claims pay day lenders are sending scores of transients into Josiah’s  disrupting business.

Officer Sam Clemens says police told Steve Hildebrand he can remove anyone from the business he wants.

Clemens says if you kick somebody out of your establishment and they return then you call police and have them arrested.

Hildebrand and Steve Hickey are leading the effort to cap payday lending and car title loans in South Dakota.  Hildebrand says "so-called missionaries" are bringing in upwards of 50 to 60 alleged homeless people into Josiah's under the guise of helping the hungry.
